Another good week
Dear Family,
This
week was a good one we didn't have that much success as we wanted in
finding a lot of new investigators to grow our teaching group but, the
week pulled through with Lucas progressing a lot! He is such a good guy!
We didn't end up meeting with him the entrie week because our schedules
were always the opposite. We were really hoping that he would be able
to come to church so that he would keep his baptismal date of the 28th of march.
We were about in the middle of our first meeting and we heard from
around the corner someone walking in with sandals and my companion
immediatly knew that it was him! That was miracle #1 We were really
happy to have him in church ince more and he loved it. Miracle #2 The
fact that we didn't have the chance to meet with him this week means
that he had gone to church twice and still didn't have a Book of Mormon
and before he left again we gave him a Book of Mormon and told him that
we would stop by his house later to explain. Yesterday night we went to
Lucas' house and remember that super annying kid? Still was there but,
only this time we had brought two of the young men in our group with us
and because there were not any more seats to sit in on the couch,
because of our members with us, the little kid stayed in his room with
his mom and was quiet the entire time. Miracle #3 He loved the meetings
of the church and we taught him about the restauration and the Book of
Mormon and he accepted it all! Miracle#4 He was super excited to have
found the path that he was looking for. He didn't have a single question
and in his prayer to close the lesson he even prayed to have Heavenly
Father bless him that he may bring this gospel to others who don't have
it! Miracle #5 Wow The spirit was super strong and we asked him if he
would think about serving a mission and he said that it would be
awesome! Miracle#6 I cant believe that he is such an elect! I'm super
happy that we met him and this week we are preparing him to be baptized.
He has a girlfriend that maybe could get in the way but, we have faith
that can move mountains and if that mountain has to land on top of his
girlfriend to let him be baptized so be it. Now that would be a crazy
miracle for sure. NOTICE: This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
